Modular system of education

In place of widely used in universities, the traditional system of the course, at the Warsaw International Business School, we offer a modular training formula. It allows students to achieve greater efficiency in the aquisition of practical skills and at the same time study of economic become more attractive.

The traditional dominant so far in Polish universities is slightly different than secondary level of education. It is characterized by regular repeatability held every week the same items. Our aim is to implement the training program to provide content specific to individual subjects. Students quiet often must themselves seek the meaning of studying one or another subject. This type of system does not always guarantee acquire the necessary competencies needed to take a job or run your own business.

The use of the modular system in Warsaw International Business School will give us appropriate solution similar to established European and American business schools, eliminating the drawbacks and limitations specific to the dominant traditional system, namely:

  • traditional system emphasis on formal exams and reckoning of the cost of acquisition of objects useful in their professional knowledge and acquire practical skills. For this reason, studies proceed according to scheme „from exam to exam” and what student actually learns has a secondary effect and often random. In fact, the practical science starts only after graduation.
  • Proposed a modular system of education lies in the fact that each day of class is subordinate to the implementation of the selected topic. Each day are classes in various disciplines such as (macroeconomica, finance, law or computer siecne) prepared in the form of appropriately selected segments of content – modules. Teachers conducting the classes work together in the emplementation of that particular program. The condition for the Student to move to the next module is the mastery of knowledge and skills from previous activities.
  • With such a specific formulation of classes, student learns how knowledge of different subjects can be used to solve a particular problem, can see how various discipline of knowledge links together. Exams are not stresfull, less formality and become a positive confirmation of the completed stage of study. Source of satisfaction of a sense of learned skills useful in their job.
