The green economy is a transformative change with a global dimension. According to UNEP green economy is one that results in improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities.

The pillars of green economy are: climate change, resource saving and management, circular economy, environmental protection, ecosystem protection and recovery, water conservation and natural disaster prevention.

In the Green Economy Action LAB we develop international research and educational cooperation in the following areas:
