12-month Vocational Course INVESTING IN FINANCIAL MARKETS

2. Programme of the course includes:
A. TRADITIONAL INVESTMENT MARKETS
- shares, bonds, currencies, short-term instruments, derivatives
- stock exchanges, FOREX, alternative investment markets (AIM)
B. CRYPTOCURRENCIES
- bitcoin and altcoins, investing in crypto market, initial coin offering (ICO)
- types of crypto markets, crypto derivatives, analysis of crypto investments
C. PORTFOLIO ANALYSIS
- investment strategies, portfolio diversification, risk management
- rate of return and risk correlation, active and passive investing
D. TECHNICAL AND FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS
- tools in technical analysis, trends, formations, technical indicators
- stages of fundamental analysis, valuation of shares and bonds
E. ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS
- commodities, real estate market, hedge funds, funds of funds
- venture capital and private equity funds, art, collecting.
3. Learning system:
- the number of the course hours: 500 (1 course hour = 45 minutes)
- language of instruction: English
- place of the course: centre of Warsaw/Nowy Świat Street 49
- training methods: presentations, workshops, case studies, projects
- for the certificate of the course completion is preparation of the business project required
- group size: up to 10 participants
- confirmation of completion: certificate
- Option: the possibility to attend the course as distance (on-line) course
4. Fees:
- registration fee: 250 EUR or equivalent in PLN, paid during application, not refunded, also if the visa will be refused,
- course fee: 2300 EUR or equivalent in PLN, paid within 3 days after visa receiving before date of arrival to Poland;
- in the case of TRC applicants and already residing in Poland, the course fee paid in advance or in 2 installments;
- for distance (on-line) courses, the course fee is to pay with a 20% discount.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE – 12-month course
- Sending signed APPLICATION FORM with scan of the passport (first page) to: office@wmsb.edu.pl
- Please see the ADMISSION RULES.
- Receipt by e-mail of the offer letter. The offer letter is free of charge.
- Payment of the registration fee. The registration fee is not refundable also if the visa will be refused.
- After receiving of registration fee issue of the final documents confirming admission (acceptance letter and proof of payment).
- Payment by the Applicant of the course fee within 3 days after visa receiving before date of arrival to Poland.
- The course includes cost of the trainer, learning materials, assessment of the final project, preparation of the certificate.
- Signing the contract with timetable and start of the course.
