Unemployment refers to the share of the labor force that is without work but available for and seeking employment.

According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS) in May 2023, the unemployment rate in Poland amounted to 5.1 percent. Compared to May last year, the jobless rate dropped 0.3 percentage point from 5.4 percent.

The number of job offers submitted to labor offers increased. Unemployment rate in Poland is currently at the lowest level in the European Union.
